We are staying at the Holiday Inn at Heathrow T5 and want to go for a meal on the Friday evening rather than stay in hotel restuarant - Hotel is classed as London Road Slough?

Depends on what you're looking for really but I think you're perhaps better off looking at somewhere to eat in Windsor if you want to get out for a while. There's a fair amount of choice in Windsor. Slough is quite a lot more limited. T5 itself has a Carluccios before you go through departures which might be worth looking at?

There is not much around where you will be, there is a Harvester and a Toby carvery down the road (M4 jct5 roundabout, go right towards Slough and they are both there) or go into the village of Datchet lovely indian called "Spices" or a small neighbourhood italian. Best bet is Windsor, its pretty! Zizzi opposite the castle is great for kids, and in the pedestrian station area you have every eatery under the sun....

There is as nice fast food places in slough. A really good kebab place, and the best fish and chips, both of which have restaurants to eat in and both are on London road. I agree though, if you want naice, go to Windsor.

If it's the same kebab place i'm thinking of
then that is yum! Also try the curry place in Salt Hill Park
near the bowling alley.
