Looking for Resort not too far from Orlando

We've booked our flights to Florida for July/August and 5 nights at Disney's Beach Club. My Dad lives around 200 miles south of Disney so we'll go there for a couple of days at the end of the holiday. I'm looking for a really nice family resort for 7 nights in between. Would anyone recommend Clearwater, Anna Mario island, Naples or Captiva? I'm looking for somewhere 5 star with kids' facilities and a bit of nightlife.
The alternative option is flying to The Bahamas to stay at The Atlantis for a week or flying down to Key West for a week.
Help!

Key West I believe is not served by any airport; nearest airport to that area is Miami which is about 3 hours driving time north of there.

Where does your Dad live; any nice beach resort areas near his hometown?.

St Petes is also a nice area near to Clearwater.

I'll have a look at St Pete's. Key West does have an airport. My Dad lives in Delray Beach which is very residential. I'm hoping to find somewhere between orlando and there.

Captiva is gorgeous, but quite a small island & I'm struggling to think of a 5 resort on it. There's the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, just the other side of the bridge (ie on the mainland, just before the tollbooths). That's 5 & very nice, but you'd have to pay the $6 toll every time you wanted to go to Captiva (Ha! I'm living up to my name again!). I got the best pedicure I've ever had at the spa there. Make sure you stay in the hotel, not the condos as, depending on the owner, the quality can be variable.

What budget do you have? There are some fabulous hotels in the Orlando area with good deals. The coast is much, much more expensive. We love Naples and can recommend the Naples Beach and Golf Club.
