Peyrecaty vs Pagel vs Country Kids?

I've been going round in circles for over a year trying to establish what to do for our first family holiday abroad since DS (2.8) was born.

All of these places look to offer similar facilities and family experiences but Country Kids is waaaayyy more expensive, however it seems that anyone who's ever been there has nothing but positive things to say about it. At around 6000 Euro's for the 3 of us it might break the bank, but I don't want to throw away our hard-earned savings if we could get the same enjoyment from either Peyrecaty or Pagel for a fraction of the price.

Has anyone got experience of these places that can help me with my quandry?

I can recommend another great gite complex that is not nearly as pricey.

what time of year? how important is the weather? how important is child care? do you need to be close the beach?

Thanks everyone for your recommendations. We're looking for somewhere warm but not roasting (Middle East in the summer is a no-no!) and somewhere with only a short transfer from the airport. Preferably no more than 2-3 hour flight. DS is an only child (we don't plan on having any more) so we'd like to go somewhere where he can play and form friendships with other kids, hence why we're looking at Peyrecaty/Country Kids/Pagel. We'd like a safe environment where he can play and enjoy himself but we don't want to bung him in kids clubs (although if he wants to go......tee hee...). Resort hotels at this stage don't appeal. Any advice from people who have experience of Peyrecaty/Pagel/Country Kids greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
