Eurostar check in - How late can you be?

Train to Dinseyland leaves at 10.17, our tickets say to check on at least 30 mins before.
Due to a f**k up with the ticket machine, a late taxi and beyond useless staff at my local station, we have missed our train to st pancras. We are now on the next one, due to get in at 9.48 so just after check in deadline, we will obviously run from platform .... Are we going to be ok? Panicking now ...

Glad you caught your train ok DEHS,
I always aim to get to St Pancras about an hour before the train time, to allow for any queues for passport control and security checks. It is obviously busier during school holidays Fridays/ weekends with more people travelling to Disneyland and Paris.
They can sometimes stop people for random luggage search as well, which happened to my son on one of our trips to DLP.
Hope you enjoyed your time in Disneyland.

My DH missed his Eurostar. He thought it was like an ordinary train, he hadn't considered passport control.
He learned his lesson, he's coming over this evening on it.

Oh dear ripsishere, he certainly learned the hard way!
Once you are through passport control and security at St P there is a shop for food / drinks / magazines etc, like in airports, so no hardship having to wait for a while for your train departure.
In school holidays there is a band playing Disney music in the Chessy train waiting area, so nice listening to that as well.
