Holiday Village Flamingo Beach Lanzarote

Hi there, we are going to the above this July and was wondering if anyone who has been there has any feedback, tips for us. Also is anyone else going to be there this July?

Went there August 2010 - with DH, DS (15) DD (6). Upgraded to deluxe room, not too sure what this got us but as all rooms (well most) have a view to die for :-) The promenade from the resort to Playa blanca is beautiful as is the town itself. AI food was good - had different choices each evening and I also like the fact that they had 2 types of restuarants to choose from with various international dishes on the menu.
The swimming pool was my only issue. As with most HV the daily upearly brigade started from 6.00ish placing towels down and then returning much later. My DD loved the entertainment - my DS didn't :-(
All in all a lovely clean & beatiful place - hope you enjoy. We are okkf to Holiday Village Viva in Majroca this year - hopes this is ok too.
