Jersey Restaurants and Pubs

Myself, DW and DS 3 yrs are off to Jersey in a couple of weeks for our holiday. We have been there before, but that was about 10 years ago!

We are planning to mostly prepare our own food in the evenings and for breakfast, but go out for lunch somewhere. We have got a car, so getting there isn?t too much of a problem.

Can anyone recommend any good family friendly pubs and restaurants around the island?

I can remember quite a few pubs (mostly from doing the Mary Ann Passport) but last time I wasn?t paying attention to whether they looked good for children or not ? plus things can change a lot in 10 years!

Thanks ;)

The Old Portelet Inn does lovely food.

We went to Jersey in March and I think the best food we ate was at the new restaurant at Jersey zoo. It wasn't cheap but it was fabulous! It is the restaurant by the entrance if you happen to go there - Cafe Firefly or something like that i think!
