Driving a hire car in the Netherlands

I live in Spain.
I will be on holiday in the Netherlands next month and will be hiring a car.
I have a UK driving license (photocard one)
I will be travelling on my UK passport.
Will I be OK to drive on my UK driving license even though I don't live in the UK and I'm flying in from Spain?

I can't see any reason why it woulndn't be. It's all EU. Just be careful with the bicycles. In NL they have all rights. If you hit a bicycle, it will always be your fault, regardless of the circumstances.
