Hi - we are going to Leicester for a few days in a couple of weeks. Has anyone any suggestions about what places to visit (with 6 and 4 year old), good places to eat etc. Thanks

Don't know if this is a bit late, but places my Dcs enjoy are:

Twinlakes in Melton- really good day out with rides, animals, hellish softplay and activities. Crafty room as well. Not too pricey either. Cheaper if you book in advance.

Bradgate park, free except for parking. Good for a runaround, long walks and picnic. Deers there quite tame so you get quite close to them. Nice tearoom too!

Stonehurst farm in Mountsorrel, farm park with a transport museum. They have pony rides and tractor rides.Nice tearoom here as well Blush

Abbey pumping station, only DS (5) likes this, for the flushing poo!

NewWalk museum is brilliant too.
