Calling all Brighton residents! - Help needed for Hen weekend activities

We are going to Brighton in April for my sister's Hen Weekend. We will arrive Friday lunchtime and leave on Sunday just after lunch. Friday night is intended to be fairly low-key and Saturday night will be a more dressed-up affair. On Saturday night we would like to go somewhere quite smart for dinner, have cocktails pre/post dinner and possibly go dancing. I am also looking for suggestions for restaurants/ cafes and daytime activities other than shopping.
There will be about 6 of us and we're not doing the veil and L-plates thing! Hope you can help.

Havana restaurant is fab, decorated in french colonnial style with food to die for. Its my fave restaurant ever, highly recommended!

REVIEW FRON INTERNET-
"In the evening the café area turns into a cocktail lounge and knocks out some serious concoctions both alcoholic and not, including the vodka martini required for my fantasy lifestyle.

Ben, the owner, is justifiably proud of Havana and believes it to be one of the best restaurants in Brighton. I would not argue with him on that one. It is well run with good staff, an excellent menu and impressive surroundings. For me, it felt a little intimidating, as it looks so plush, you can't help thinking that it will cost you an arm and a leg. A three-course evening meal here will set you back around £25 per person plus drinks; not the cheapest place in town, but certainly not a rip-off. Havana deserves success in Brighton but then perhaps Brighton doesn't deserve Havana".

Thanks Tiredemma, a friend has also recommended Havana so I think that could be an excellent option for Saturday night.

Havana is lovely and very central. If you are wanting to do any 'beauty' stuff then The Treatment Rooms is the ONLY place to go, tho not cheap. What sort of things do you want to do? then i can be more specific.
