I've just told dh that I want to spend Christmas somewhere else, not at home, not with family, just the 2 of us and DD who will be 5.
I want to start looking, but I don't have any idea where to go...dh suggested somewhere hot as he never spent xmas in a hot country, I am from a hot country myself and I don't really mind where to go, the things I am looking for are:
*safety
*comfort
*entertainement....I want to have something to do as I am bored of our Xmas's in London...too much tv, no public transport, nothing to do...

Full board, travel, accomodation and actiities included.
Anyone done that? Is it worth?

How about the States? Plenty of OTT entertainment but you can pick if you want a warm Christmas or a nice snowy one. Easy to do, not too expensive and you can do every year if it works well.

Talking to a family member yesterday I have decided to go to my home country, is a long way and I will have to stay longer than the school holidays so DD will miss out on school but I have no option, it is is South America, tickets are very expensive and I haven't seem my family for 4 years.
I will think about going to Israel on Easter 2013...Anyone ever spent easter in Israel??
