went to menorca last year and stayed in caln forcat which was fab kids loved it also went to cala galdana which is beautiful i preferred menorca to majorca much more scenic and normal roads no motorways most relaxing holiday ever had

pollensa in majorca. we stayed in ruralish bit close to pollensa old town (which is absolutely lovely) but went to puerto pollensa for beach.

pollensa old town has a great oudoor but covered, children's playground BTW

We last stayed just south/east of Alcudia, nr San Albufera nature area, great sandy beach, not too loud and brash, accessible to Pollensa and north east of the island, less than an hour's drive from Palma airport (bearing in mind no traffic as low season). However it was mainly high rise hotels and aparthotels in that area, not private villas.

Is Javea near Denia? (sp)
