Family-friendly hotels abroad

We've stayed at Knoll House in Dorset, and Old Park on the Isle of Wight, and now have hugely high standards! I would like to go abroad this year, but am having difficulty convincing dh that we will be able to find such high-quality hotels. Not that I know of any myself, but I know a woman (or several thousand) who does...

Knoll House prices are starting to get beyond our reach, so we're looking for something around the Old Park level. We've got a 5yo and a 3yo, so still need a babylistening service for afternoon naps and evenings, as well as childrens' teas etc.

Can anyone suggest anywhere?

Also have a look at this site which has hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy iirc. Also in Switzerland there is a list of similar ones here althgouh bear in mind the hotels subscribe to be included and may not be independently qc'ed
