Hotel recommendations for Richmond/twickenham

For two families of four.
Pool woud be nice but not essential.
Also and reommendations of something we can fo for the afternoon with four boys aged 7.

We stay at the Marriott actually in the stadium! It's not the cheapest and can be downright expensive if there is a match on. There is free parking though. However teams will often stay there when playing at the Quins site (The Stoop) and we have got to see the Gloucester and Saracens team in the bar. Pool next door in the Virgin gym that you have free access to (limited hours for children and they are not allowed at all on Sundays). Short walk to station. Kew Gardens are doable but it's not far from the city.
