Has anyone ever tried a trekking type holiday with horse & horse drawn caravan? This type of thing (though not necessarily at that place, it's just an example). It would just be me & the DDs, aged five and four (and poss. a friend and her kids, but for now I'm assuming it's just going to be me!).
Would like to know if it's fun for kids, or do they get bored? Is it do-able to care for the kids and horse if there is a single adult? I do have fairly rusty by now experience with horses.
