Half Term Holiday - end of October

Looking for some ideas for a week away in the sun in October.

I don't fancy the Canary Islands or Egypt, but want somewhere warm. Already been to Abu Dhabi and Dubai and fancy somewhere different. DS likes swimming and doing sports - football etc. I just want somewhere with really plush accomodation, nice pool and good choices of food.

We are very lucky and have a budget of £2.5k.

cyprus is nice in October!

Cape Town, Kenya, Cape Verde, Oman.

I've done Cape Town and Oman, but will take a look at Cyprus and Cape Verde.

Cyprus in October is lovely. I was there for work and stayed here. Fab hotel and right on a small private beach.
