Anyone have any experience in using ear plugs for babies on flights?

To avoid my 7 month old's ear's popping on the plane, can I use those earplugs they sell in boots?

The best way to help with the ears with babies is to feed them when landing or taking off (bottle or breast ... quite easy with the lap belt they give you). Alternatively if your baby has a dummy then that works too.

Yeah I know but my worry is that because it is a night flight, she might be asleep and not take the bottle at the right time - and she doesn't take a dummy, so I need a back up plan!

Hmm, I see your point .... I didn't know that ear plugs helped at all to be honest so I can't help you there ...
Hope someone comes along soon with some experience
