Spa hotel - Cambridge or Oxford

Hi,

I am organising a Hen do and the requested locations are Cambridge or Oxford. Anyone got any tips on a nice spa hotel in either of these??

not a spa but the Oxford malmaison is fab and fun- it's the old prison, great vibe, fab deco (you get to stay in a cell, well 3 cells make up a room) v central location in Oxford, lovely wine bar. been used as set for Lewis, Morse etc a couple of times..

There are no spa hotels in Cambridge as far as I know but there is the lovely Hotel Du Vin, and a Clarins studio spa as part of John Lewis, just 5 mins down the road.

The Varsity Hotel is a spa hotel in Cambridge, and is lovely. The spa adjoins the hotel.
