As anyone booked things individually when going to euro disney rather than booking a package?? I have been looking at the Holiday Inn and also My Travel Explorers Hotel as anyone got any tips or recpmmendations either, we are planning to go in December 2006.

I forgot about the slots for breakfast, I booked my slots when we checked in as I found before that everyone wants much the same time, so I suppose it is best to stagger everyone but annoying if you don't get the slot you want.

well we have managed to get the room at the holiday inn for 63euros a night and the flights in total for the 3 of us have cost £188 with ba.

I have been to disney 3 times in past 2 years and loved it. The last time we booked a meal with the characters which we thought was a good idea but we were sat on the top level of restaurant and only a few of the characters came up to us. It cost a lot of money to do this and we came away feeling very dissapointed. We met more characters just walking around.

Just thought I would warn you I wouldnt want someone else wasting their money on it.

If you are staying outside of the park I would recommend a visit to Parc Asterix too. It isnt as popular as disney therefore not so busy but it is just as good. You get the rides, characters, dolphin shows etc but without such long queues.

We did the character lunch 5 years ago and it was the best meal we had for 3 days, the charactors seemed to spend equall time at each table, but we were lucky and got a table on the floor in the middle.
