I flew to Australia last weds with my 8 month old. She was an angel on the flight & slept a fair amount then stayed up during our first day without too many problems & seems to have settled in to the new time zone without any problems.....in the day time that is! She's not wanting to sleep too much during the day, is eating at normal times etc but for 6 nights has woken up at 3am then 5am & not wanted to settle back easily, even if I pop dummy back in. Just to complicate matters she was sick with gastro flu for a week before we flew & had a new tooth come through the week before that so in effect it's now been 3 weeks since she slept well at night. I'm worried this is getting habit forming rather than being anything to do with jet lag. If I offer her juice at 3/5am she guzzles it so could she be confused from jetlag & think she needs to feed at night despite the fact that she's eating tons during the day??

Any advice?? A few nights I've just pulled her into bed with me for a cuddle at 3am & she's then slept through to 6/7 but we can't get into the habit of doing that so I don't know what else to do!!
