hey there
just looking for some advice, my hubby and I have 3 kids 5,4 and 2 ( oldest will be 6 when we fly next year)
Any suggestions on where to go and what to do? lifted pile of travel brochures.... mind boggling...
Would like beach but we both quite fancy germany, I want warmth/ sum but south france looks difficult to get to from scotland for keycamp/eurocamp...
All suggestions welcome, I am off from 2nd july for 2 weeks and would ideally go away for 7-10days.
Thanks
Lynn x

You can fly to keycamp/eurocamp, they do bedding packs and generally are very well equipped. We have 3 DCs, (older now) and having tried different types of holiday the campsites are the best.

Generally with small DCs I would recommend self catering for relaxation (eat when you want). When DCs are older I would recommend self-catering for the cost.

Hiya,

we have 3 kids aged 8, 3 and 2 and went to france last year and the year before. Keycamp eurocamp and canvas holidays are all great and would recommend any of them. Flying is ok as you can book the flights to the local airport and then get a hire car for the time you are there or just get transfers to the campsite of your choice.
We have recently booked our holiday in the south of France through www.gocampfrance.co.uk we found them very useful as the site had all three companies on showing which company did which campsite. Also found it quite good as you can book flights and car hire through various companies on their site too.
Hope it helps. We really enjoyed France and are looking forward to going again this year.

Jet2 fly form Edinburgh to La Rochelle in the summer. I personally think for those ages a gite is better than eurocamp. Once they get older and they can go off on their own then campsites are great but for little ones gites (with fully fenced pools obviously) are much more relaxing.
