jet lag and 11 month dd

Any advice for dealing with jet lag and my 11 month old DD? Going back to the UK on Thursday and I've no idea what to expect. Confused

I would usually just push on til 9pm, go to bed then not get up until 6 but I'm guessing that's not an option for a non verbal baby :o

It's pretty rough in my experience. It depends on the time difference of course. For us it's 7 hours ahead when we go back to Europe. I try to put DD into her routine as soon as we arrive and hope for the best. Keep naps as short as possible (whilst still being fair to her) and wake her up at 7am in the morning, even though it's tempting to let her sleep so we can also. The first night for us is usually OK as she's tired from broken sleep on the flight, then we have a bad night, good night and one more bad night before we are usually OK. When she wakes in the night and wants to play I keep her in our bed in the dark and eventually (often after a couple of hours) she'll drop off. Good luck!
