Ideas for short break with 11 yr old DD

I have the opportunity to take my very girlie 11 year old DD away for a couple of days next Easter holidays. Any ideas - want to stay in UK, not too far away from our South East home, and need to avoid theme parks

Hastings is fab - castle, beach, big trampolines...

I take it camping wouldn't be a hit?

Did Hastings with my 11 year old DD last year. A bit of seaside / shopping / history / etc was great. She has also loved open top bus tours when we have visited somewhere new.

bath? Windsor? Oxford? Cheap flight to EDinburgh or Newcastle?
