a hen weekend!!!....but where???

my absolute bestest friend in all the world is getting hitched at easter, we are now in the process of arranging a hen weekend, but we are all stuck for ideas, we are toying with the idea of dublin but have hit a few obsticals with that one - a) the weekend we are going is ireland v scotland at rugby so the hotel prices are extortionate
b) apparently its now against the law to smoke in public places there, i dont smoke but all of the other girls do, it will be no fun watching loads of girls going cold turkey because they cant get a nicotine fix all weekend.
so now we are back to the drawing board, have any mumsnetters got any ideas of where we can go, pref a city break where we can run riot!

why not hire a big cottage in the country - can be with people you really like and WANT to spend time with, can dance to whatever music you want to in the living room, visit and shock country folk down the local, no pressure to go sightseeing like if you went to somewhere like Prague - just really nice and easy to way to have a good party weekend. Some of the bigger, gransder ones will organise catering too if you wanted one night witha proper sit doen dinner.

ok scratch that - just saw you want to terrorise men - unless you do that down the local, maybe my idea just too tame for you!!

Because I had to live there from 4-18 Iwas being a bit tongue in cheek - I do love going back to visit my family.
