Has anyone used a CARES harness on an Emirates flight?

I will be flying from london to durban with my 19 month old son. I am going to book him his own seat as I will be travelling alone with him and will be too much for me (and him!) to have him on my lap the whole time.

Emirates offer the best price but it is not clear if they do accept the CARES harness. I have phoned on two seperate occassions and both times the person seemed very unsure and really did not seem to know what I was talking about. They might very well accept the harness but I have yet to be given a definitive yes or no.

Please let me know if you have travelled on Emirates and if they have accepted the CARES harness? Many thanks!

Don't know what that harness is, but I flew with emirates, they were great with DS, but they still insisted he sit on my lap for takeoff and landing and turbulence. With just the lapbelt
