7 hour car trip with 2 under 2?

Hi,
We're going away on Saturday and have a 7 hour drive with 2 under 2...

Any ideas on entertaining etc very much appreciated!

Failing that drive at night.

We've just done this and it was fine. Just have lots of snacks at hand and expect a mess.

I had endless trips with teletubies banging out from the speakers. Don't get distracted, don't keep checking on them in the mirror, they will be fine, make lots of stops, expect to be late & the car plus all of you, to be a mess when you get there .... and breath ....

Only drive for two hours at a time...Regular pit stops will be needed...
Take their pillows / blankeys etc so they can snuggle, they will sleep hopefully...
Book the car in for a full valet on return

Just go for it really...

we've done similar with 2 under 3 and then 3 under 5 (2 under 2!) and it was ok.

leave yourself plenty of time, take regular breaks. stop at services or pubs with playgrounds so the kids can stretch their legs and burn off some energy. if they fall asleep then drive drive drive!!!
