Just returned from what should have been a great villa holiday in Majorca until the villa was burgled. A warning to anyone going to this island, do not leave your passports, travel documents or any valuables in the property. Check with your travel company if the villa has been broken into previously and what security measures are in place at the property i.e. secure windows & locks. According to what I was told many rental villas are broken into, but no villa comany will tell you or warn you about this problem which is very common in Majorca. Top tip, take photos if this happens to you.
