where in europe would you specifically NOT like to go then?

dizzy34 · 01/12/2005 14:05

Hi, like i said 6beetrootsAmilking i wasnt trying to be arguementative, just generally interested. as a by the by i dont use travel agents either, i tend to book on line.

Cod- we like different holidays as well. I have always booked independantly cos we have four children. Our oldest is 15yrs, twins aged 11yrs and baby aged 2.5. The youngest is quadriplegic, reg blind, doesnt eat and drink etc so it is easier if i book independantly and then i get a tailor made package. Last year we travelled through france, to eastern france, switz and gemany in august. in may last year we hired a private villa in the countryside in valencia (this was just a relaxer), we went to new york last january. Next year we going new york in january, to a tiny village in rhodes in august with just a few tavernas around (i like peace and queit). i would like to spend next xmas in the florida area if poss. i know it sounds like we spend a fortune on holidays, but we dont have much of a social life due to the little one and we both work hard in stressful jobs.
i think i should have been a travel agent cos i do like the organising as well as the traveling.

I haven't been on holiday since 2002.

When shall I start up the violins?

SilentBite · 01/12/2005 15:43

blimey

OComeOliveFaithfOil · 01/12/2005 15:47

I had been travelling for 12 months previous to that however. Or so people keep reminding me .

I have also had 2 children since then so have either been pregnant, weary or skint and sometimes all 3.

Cod - how old are the children? what airport? what board basis? and do you want 7 or 14 nights?

This is a good one for a 2 bedroomed all inclusive in Majorca for August. It's not a villa but it's a low complex not a high rise and the flights are good times too -

The 3* Las Rocas Apartments are situated just a few hundred metres from one of the sandy beaches of Cala dOr on the south east coast of Majorca.

weather was not good i agree

unfortunately our holiday is practically free so we have no justification for ever going anywhere else (although dearly miss other people as cottage is so remote)

ENIDeepMidwinter · 02/12/2005 12:56

in fact am dreading it

as will have 3 month old to add to brew

am insisting we buy a portable dvd player
