Was it really that expensive?
Worth the money?
What did your kids think if you took them?

Yes, no, not overwhelmed but is a nice (and very expensive) memory.

My kids loved it. Expensive for the length of trip but they still talk about it 6 years later. Will go again with baby 4 in a couple of years.

oooh not that great then sykes!

How old were yours when you took them swedishmum?

Mine were just 3, just 4 and it was dd1's 6th birthday the day we flew out. They loved it and could join in with everything but in retrospect they might have been a little bit young.

it was very expensive we only went for two days, but the kids had a great time and now when they see the other father christmas' in town, they always say thats not the real santa hes in Lapland!
ds1 asked to go again this year and was thinking of taking ds2 again as he was only 2 when we went and i think he remebers more because his older brother prompts him rather than actually remebering iyswim.

I'm going for the first time in two weeks! Kids are so excited but bank manager not thrilled!!

Sorry for a bit of a hijack but I have bought proper gloves, thinsulate hats and thermal underwear... what else should I bring?

Yes, we went on a day trip with Canterbury Travel last year and yes, it was worth every penny (and it cost a lot of pennies!). Ds loved it - he is now seven and I heard him telling a friend this morning about how he saw Santa last year.

QueenVictoria · 25/11/2005 21:35

Please let me know how you find it nerdgirl.

I am thinking of going next year for our honeymoon (with our two in tow - dd will 3.7 and DS will be 1.7).

never been, always wanted to, only ever heard fab reports about it, from those who have been.
