Leeds Castle is lovely -- loads of beautiful grounds for picnics etc, an aviary, a maze and of course the castle itself. They also often have demonstrations/shows/activities on at no extra cost.

It's very easy to spend a whole day there and the excellent thing is that your tickets last for a year with unlimited returns.

I think I've been to Hampton Court once, but I don't remember it. Maybe that means it's not as good. Or maybe it just means I'm old.

i can either buy leeds castle tickets and go as many times as i like in a year(probably 3 max), or i can buy thr hampton court membership for year and go to tower of london and kensington palace plus 2 others ,just trying to work out the best value!

Ah, I didn't know you could go to all those others with the Hampton Court membership. So yeah, I suppose it depends on how expensive they are.

You can spend a day at Hampton Court. I would say the interior is better for kids as they can walk around without you worrying they will break anything. The restaurant is also nice.

If you do decide to go to Hampton Court then go out by the side gate and look at the playground in Bushy Park lots of fun. The Park also has roaming deer and you can walk through the park all the way to Kingston and just as you leave the Park at the Kingston Bridge Gate you'll see a cafe and a skate park very good. You can also get a boat from Kingston to Hampton court Near John Lewis which is fun.

Go to hampton Court if you need to get some shopping done as Kingston has all the High Street shops. Go to Leeds if you want to get away from it all.
