Have found brilliant CD for long journeys with U5's - yippee!! Made by talented Dorset musicians, 'Rosie the Little Red Car' is full of just fab singalong songs (boogie-woogie originals amongst other things) and best of all you can go on their website www.playsongsplus.com and listen before purchase!

We have this CD - it is the only thing I can bear to have on during long journeys. Seriously, I can't sing (ha ha, no really I can't!) the praises of this collection of tunes enough... it is absolutely fab. My daughters first sentence, if that's what you would call it, was "Rosie, red car". We all love it!
My personal favourite is Dance Thumbkin Dance and Daddy loves Dance All Night. I don't think there is anyone amongst our family and close friends who can't sing along word-for-word with Rosie!
Just out of interest, what are your favourites?

"Oh Mr Sun, Sun Mr Golden Sun!" is my favourite. I just can't help tapping my feet and I do love Nickie and Gill's harmonies - too beautiful to be restricted to the under 5's!
My daughter (now 5) is a Rig-a-Jig Jig fan and of course 'Chug-a-Chug Chug' when I just picture Gill hopping up and down doing her amazing boogie-woogie keyboard stuff. Love it!:)

Just booked two weeks camping in the South of France. That's an 8 hour drive! How many times do you think we are going to go through the CD during that time? We will probably have time to make up our own harmonies!
