For those of you who know the Covent Garden area, where would be a really nice place for lunch, 4 girlfriends celebrating a 40th, before a matinee? Has anyone got any recent recommendations? Thanks.

Depends on your budget - how about Joe Allen?

Not been for a while but always used to be really buzzy and fun.

however, it is in a cellar, so you may want cocktails on the terrace or something instead if it is this time of year!

Clos Majoire - fab - not cheap but not super expensive and sooo worth it!

How about Sophie's ?

Really good food. Good wine too. And close to the theatres. Went this time last year.

Interesting fact: Masterchef contestants cooked in the kitchen last year.

I am not sure what it is called, but there is a lovely Italian restaurant in covent garden, very reasonably priced and within the atmosphere of CG.
Sorry not to be more helpful.
