Theme park rides when pregnant

I'm thinking about taking DD to Legoland or Chessington on their parent and toddler deals. She's nearly 3 so we would only be going on the toddler type rides. I know some of the big rides say that you can't go on if pregnant but is this the case for kiddy rides as well? I have a feeling it would be fine but would hate to get all the way there and be disappointed, there would be a huge meltdown!!

I can think of quite a few rides at Legoland that you'd be perfectly safe on. Plus there's the model city to look at and a Duplo land play area which would be great for your DD. I don't know Chessington as well so not sure how many rides you'd manage but it has a Sea Life centre. I think it might have a zoo as well.

height is more important at legoland than age too, there s very little to do if under 90cm.

are you very pg? i would phone the park and see what they say. am sure kiddy rides are fine, but you don't want them to spot your bump and then say it's their policy that no pg people ride etc...

I was planning on taking 2yo DD on a group trip to Alton Towers soon, I'm PG and assumed the little rides would be no problem. There will be stuff to wander round and look at, the little boat rides etc, at the very minimum.

Having said that MIL was a big fan of rollercoasters whilst heavily pregnant with DH and he turned out okayish! Grin

I went on the wussy (suitable for 3yo) rides at Legoland when pregnant, but I suspect the official (covering themselves) guidelines say not to -- so you might have an issue if you are very obviously pregnant.
