I am secretly organising my dsis 40th birthday bash in Bruges. Has anyone used the Eurostar? Does it go to Brussels and then you change to Bruges?

Any recommendations for a nice central hotel in Bruges?

Thanks in advance.

That sounds great, Bruges is a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. Is it going to be just you two or are you inviting more people?

If it's just for you two, I can recommend Sint Niklaas B&B: www.sintnik.be/
It's a lovely boutique hotel, and it's about a minute walk from the Market square. The rooms are very modern and clean and the breakfasts are amazing. We liked it so much that over the years we stayed there 3 times! The prices might seem a bit high for a B&B, but I think its worth it.

I used Eurostar to Brussels, then connecting train to Bruges. Would recommend to check the time tables for Bruges before your travel, Brussels station is massive!
