Weather good so southbank is a cheap option. Take money for the 'human statues' and an ice cream. Festival Hall is a good pit-stop, cafe/toilets and the singing lifts are fun. Always popular option with my two ...

I think the science and technology museum is wonderful

Diana playground in Kensington Gardens is lovely , but I agree that wandering along the South Bank is nice. Or Covent Garden for the buskers and London Transport museum (adults have to pay but you get unlimited entry for a year)

I almost wrote the exact same thread yesterday, except DD is 2.8, but then realised our trains aren't running. A replacement bus service doesn't appeal!
I was vaguely thinking of a park... and something else. Maybe Regent's Park.
