Where have people been this year that they would recommend as being a childfriendly place to stay for a holiday (with a lively toddler), thinking of going away june next year but can't decide if uk or abroad - went to Cornwall this year and had a fantastic time so would like to try somewhere different.

Any recommendations woudl be gratefully received.

Thanks

aldeburgh in suffolk - great for kids, with lots of things to do and places to visit nearby. we have just come back from spending a week (partner's parents have holiday cottage) there and loved it.

It's a very wide brief Emily.
Can you narrow it down a bit??

EmilyD · 10/11/2005 16:09

I didn't really want to narrow it down to see what people came up with as we just can't decide, we are tempted to go back to cornwall again but wouldn't be adverse to travelling abroad if it wasn't more than a couple of hours on plane. I have heard terrible stories recently from friends who went to france and how unfriendly and untolerant they were of toddlers so don't fancy there.
