Cheaper (not RyanAir!) flights to Puglia

I am looking for flights to Puglia (either Bari or Brinidisi) on or around 23rd April coming back on or around 30th for 3 adults and a 3yo. Can't find any direct flights from London for less than c£400.

TIA

We ended up booking with Alitalia via Rome to Bari. Only slightly more expensive than ryanair but weighed up more generous luggage allowance (travelling with 3 yr old and baby), better arrival times (especially as hiring a car and driving somewhere new) nice airline with quickish plane change. Ideally would have chosen BA but their prices were ridiculous!

Only Ryanair fly direct to Bari and Brindisi, BA to Bari (but I guess you checked them already). Another option is BA to Naples - it's an easy 4 to 4 and half hour drive from Naples, and some great scenery.

EasyJet fly here, but not direct and as far as I call the connections are not good.

As Poncherello said, Al Italia changing in Rome or Milan for either Bari or Brindisi is a good option.

Be very careful if you booked Alitalia! If the flight is a code share air one flight they will charge you 35 euros each way for the carriage of your pushchair if your child is 2 or over!! Although they seem cheap on the surface they work out far more expensive than any of the others!
