Have you thought of one of the luxury family hotels like Moonfleet Manor?

www.luxuryfamilyhotels.com/

I have been to the one at Fowey and it is probably too far to travel but I think what the hotels offer ticks all the right boxes for you

Well they have 'dens' which are supervised creches with qualified staff which are open from 8 til 8 but which are supervised from 10 - 5. They also have play areas and games that you can borrow and the like

I've been to Fowey and it was ace,but tbh as a mother who has spent most of my time alone with my two (dh abroad) from the 4th week of my second's life,it doesn't sound relaxing to me at all.

You'd be better of staying home and getting in some help if you want to do that.

Do you think?

I haven't holidayed on my onw before but I am on with my two as well and I think going away would be nice for the chang eof scenery relaxing surroundings and help on tap (something which we don't hav ehere as no family and wotnot).

Could work but you'll be on high alert all the time in a way that you aren't in your own home.

what would be stressful about it? ds1 is pretty good, he would be ok the leave and ds2 is , well, a baby...
the hotels would be childproof?
