Good Hire Car Company in Florida?

Does anyone have any recommendations for hire car companies in Florida? We went a few years ago and seem to choose the only car hire company which had a queue of over an hour just to pick up the car! Now going with two small DC's so keen to avoid a wait like that after a long flight!

We always use Alamo, but book through Virgin Atlantic. They have a dedicated 'Virgin Holidays' desk at the car hire collection area, which allows you to jump the queues and get taken straight out to your vehicle.

No - we always book our flight separately, although we do fly with Virgin. You can book just the car hire on their website.

Thanks that sounds like just what I am after, but one quick question, is the queue not massive from all the people getting off the virgin flight? (we will be flying virgin too)

Hasn't ever been too bad! To be honest they don't make it particularly clear that the dedicated desk exists, and the first time we queued up with everyone else at the Alamo desk, before someone pointed us in the right direction! We are going over in a couple of weeks, so can report back on wait time when we get back.
