I have explained to my son where milk comes from and how and i thought it would be a good idea to show him. Does anyone know a farm where you can see cow's being milked or even have a go at it? We live in East London, can drive. Thanks

I do, but it's in Dorset - there's probably one closer to you.

Here's the info anyway: www.farmerpalmers.co.uk/

There's a farm called Standalone Farm in Letchworth in Hertfordshire where they show a cow being milked but that's probably a bit far to go to see a cow Grin. hopefully someone knows of one a bit nearer :)

Try the City Farms at Whitechapel and Mudchute - I think there's a cow or two at Whitechapel. There's certainly goats.

If you want a whole day out in summer Loseley Farm near Guildford is good (lots of icecream...)
