Ok - a local / regular visitor to that area here so will try my best! There is nowhere to eat where you can see the statutes - unless you picnic! So it is a walk along the front and then go elsewhere for food. Not sure if you are bringing kiddies or not - so covering all angles!
The statues stretch from Hall Road to Waterloo. You can park at either end. I would recommend the Waterloo end - there are a few more options there. There is the Crosby Lakeside Adventure Place - lakeside - there is a lake here (obviously!) and a bistro which is lovely - you can sit outside overlooking the lake and have a fab meal - child friendly. There is parking there and an adventure playground overlooking the lake - all rocks and wooden play stuff for all ages.
An alternative would be the large hotel on the front at Marine Terrace, Waterloo royal - this has a good lounge bar (so my mother the resident eater outer of ladies that lunch!).
There are a wide variety of restaurants on South Road - tapas bar, italian, greek, etc - all reasonably priced. You would have to google them as there are too many to think of!
Another alternative is the Barbacoa which is a bit more of an evening venue, but lovely.barbacoa
My final one - about a five min drive from the front is in Crosby on the main A565 forad called The Pioneer - here. A bit more sophisticated but food is fabulous!
Any questions - just ask!
