Anyone flown Cathay with an infant?

We are flying to Hong Kong in 2 weeks with DS who will be 7 months old. Anyone experienced Cathay Pacific - what are they like with kids?

Also, is it better to fly morning ( so DS is fresh ) or evening ( so he is tired! )?

We flew to Australia with them. They were very good and I would fly with them again. Personally, I prefer to fly in the evening so there's a better chance of DC sleeping for a decent portion of the journey. It's a bloody long time to try and keep them entertained otherwise, no matter how good the airline is.

i flew to australia with them, ds was 8 months, on the way out it was a nightmare as it was an old plane but coming back it was great in a new place (major difference in the amount of space). I flew out 4 years ago so hopefully old planes less likely. In terms of flying time it is such a long flight that he is bound to spend a long time asleep anyway. I know it is an individual thing but in terms of jetlag i prefer landing in the morning and then you can brave it through the first day and should be able to sleep that night. the staff on Cathay pacific are great.

I prefer night flights as the children are more likely to sleep. At 7 months your ds should still fit in a skycrib (dd1 fitted in one at 9 months).
