Hi.

We have two DDs - 4yo and 20m. We want to go away for two weeks at the end of May. I know what type of holiday I want, but can't find anywhere new to go! This is what we would ideally like:

*Shortish flight - 3 hours max
*Villa with private pool - don't mind being 'out of it' a bit, but would prefer to be within 10-15 mins drive of coast/beach
*Don't want a trek to get a pint of milk
*Views from villa would be a bonus!
*Smallish resort - we have enjoyed holidays in Nerja, Playa Blanca (Lanzarote), Sa Riera (Costa Brava)
*Not France!
*Have done Spain to death, but would go back to different resort - any suggestions welcome!
*Up for Greece or Italy, but really have NO idea where to go

Any recommendations and/or ideas?

Thank you Smile

I was going to say spain, I see you done it to death but it is just the best place I have been with my dc.

Been to Turkey too, flights are long and so are the transfers to the hotels or whatever accomadation you are staying.

Want to go to Italy but never been myself and did not think much of France really.

Portugal is right on top of spain but that is another option.Oh and I loved Tenerife when I was a child but have not been there for years!

I hate the travelling with the dc though, it can be hard work on a plane !

Turkey isn't so far, 3½ hours to Bodrum and all the resorts around the Bodrum Peninsula are around 45 minutes to 1 hour from the airport.

We stayed at a beautiful villa near to Yalikavak last year, we were right overlooking the sea and the views were just amazing! The pool was lovely too.

It was about 10 minutes to the resort, which is fairly small with lots of nice restaurants. I have been to Playa Blanca and it is about the same size. There was a little local shop nearby and the bus stopped just outside the villa complex.

It was a really lovely holiday
