My friend has suggested we do a short haul self catering holiday at half term. Kids ages 6 5 and 4. She is up for a 'just get it cheap' approach but I'm a bit more wary of ending up in some Godforsaken hole.As a starting point can anyone just give a few pointers towards a destination? We just want clean, non chavvy (can I say that?) kid friendly close to restaurants (just a couple) and maybe a little supermarket for essentials. Oh and of course beach.I'd like not too built up but realise I may be asking a bit much - just thinking of pre child hols perhaps. My friend would say I am a pain to book with especially as, of course, we're on a budget!
