Hi

we'll by flying down to hong kong with our 18 mo and am wondering if anyone has any tips. we've flown many times with him on short haul, where on some occasions he has freaked and on others been totally fine. 13 hours though, will be a long stretch in a confined space - so any thoughts most welcome!

I would try to get a night flight and change him into pajamas. If that isn't possible, take plenty of distractions. Small toys, snacks and treats.

spend 20 mins on each activity to alleviate boredom, and make as many friends as you can!

I agree, get a night flight and pray for a tailwind.
Our flight in December, with Air New Zealand only took around 10 hours from LHR to HK
