Hi - dh is doing my head in (he was off for 2 weeks over xmas and I need a break!) so I was thinking that I might book a short weekend break away with the kids.
No tv; just outdoor walks and looking around quaint market towns and a nice meal out.
Do you think it's possible to book a nice cottage for 2 nights (fri/sat) for £100 or less?
The reason is that if it's only 2 nights, unless it's fairly cheap, we might as well stay in a Premier Inn, where the kids won't get off to sleep until goodness knows when!
I was thinking somewhere not too far from home that we could easily get to after school on a Friday so maybe outskirts of Lincoln/south peak district?
Anyone got some inspiration for me?
