Luxury Central London Hotel please

Planning my 40th - weekend away in Feb. Ive read some reviews and like what I read but need to check if youd like to recommend some top class luxury hotels. Big is not beautiful so looking for that special touch, kingsize bed, attention to detail. Will be eating out.

The Firmdale group are excellent.

Have stayed at The Haymarket and Charlotte Stree Hotel, their customer service is excellent, even better when you tell them it is your birthday!

The Haymarket is great, I agree. I've stayed twice and was upgraded the first time, no idea why but it was very nice, service is excellent, it's a very elegant sexy hotel.

One Aldwych is also fantastic, excellent service, great cocktails and fab bar - we had a suite so plenty of room but I think rooms can be small, I think sizes are on their website.
