its ok. its a big park but that great. but there is a beach nearby, and clacton town is ok. have stayed at tower and another site the other sideof it.

Clacton itself is not exactly upmarket, if you see what I mean, but is a perfectly ok seaside town with amusements, pier, chip shops, pubs etc. A bit like Bognor if you've been there. It's always nice to be by the sea, so if you don't have to spend too much time in your accomodation maybe it won't matter so much what it's like?

Thanks,

I was wondering how good the actual park was for entertainment and cost of food drinks etc...

Is there anywhere worth visiting in Clacton? Or nearby?

theres a shopoing village with a discount thortons chocolate shop

plenty on the sea front with pier etc for the kids. towns ok, leisure centre in toewn is reasonably priced for swimming tho ithink the orchards has it all onsite.

i think on most holidays ts doesnt matter much about the park, its how you spend your time. we went to all-hallows in june, and even tho there wasnt much on there we had a good time as we spent time together and just relaxed.
