Does anyone have any recommendations for nice and reasonably priced hotels in Paris? I'm thinking 3 star at least.

Want to go October for 3 nights mid week for a romantic break so although will be enjoying the sights of Paris dont want a skanky hotel room to come back to.

Any recs gratefully recieved!

IME "nice and reasonably priced" don't go together in Paris!

Citea Hotels WE stayed in SaintDennis Pleyel with the kids, not very great area but we weren't out at night so not a problem, but they have hotels in better areas ie La Villette near Cite the huge science museum, plenty restruants and shops on the same street.

Meant to say it was pretty basic, we had a mezzanine room with 2 beds uptop very low ceiling and a fold out bed down stairs with a kitchenette. Not sparkling clean but OK ideal for a base if you plan to be out and about not for lounging about in room
