We would love to return to France before the children finally stop holidaying with us (youngest is now 16). Can anyone recommend a site in the south of France? We have been to 3 or 4 sites and prefer medium or quieter ones I think. I'm basing that on our experience when we were sent to Chateau Des Ormes by the tourist board when our Chateau le Fretay holiday went wrong (see recent resurrected thread) and the site was far, far too large and busy for us. (we could only get 2 separate apartments too, with no outdoor space of our own so that didn't help probably)

Sites we have been to and liked have been St John du Monts - a quieter site next to a busier sister site. St Catherine du Fiorbois (think I have spelt that wrong) in the Loire Valley, and one near Eurodisney. It was very, very quiet for a holiday but fine for exploring from.

If anyone can recommend a site, I would be very grateful!
