Children's 5 year passport

I've just realised my 5YO's passport is due to expire in Jan 2011. we are off to Tenerife in the 22nd Oct, will it be a problem?

I seem to remember sometimes you need more than 6months on your passport to get into some countries, but I'm hoping not European ones....

I think that with Spain you should be ok but I would say check with the Spanish consulate just in case.

If you have to renew then you should be ok, every passport I have renewed has come back within a week but do it quick just in case.
